Judge orders more monitoring for Cowboys DT

He is facing intoxication manslaughter charges in the Dec. 8 crash that killed Jerry Brown Jr., a Cowboys' practice squad player. He's been free on $100,000 bond, but prosecutors say he violated the terms of his release by setting off an alcohol monitoring device and failing to download data from it as required. Judge Robert Burns said Friday that he would not raise Brent's bond, but ordered extra alcohol monitoring.
